Already the best Father. :]

In the world Father's Day and Mother's Day refer to people who have children and are parents. Being raised as a member of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" I understand this much differently.

We are all born with beautiful mother and father-like qualities that prepare us to be like God that can be achieved in this life whether we are literally parents or not. Many of these qualities need to be recognized and perfected over time. All men and women should be celebrated on this day for helping children and youth (whether their own or nieces/nephews, friends, or others) become better people and help the rising generation be prepared to be righteous leaders.

Jarom is already one of these people. Although he is not perfect (almost :]) I've watched him become a better person and develop these God-like qualities over the past 4 years we've been together. I've seen him help youth and children become better people as he has also grown helping them. This has already shown me the amazing father he will be and has made me feel incredibly excited to raise a child with him.

Up until this year he may not have been considered a "father" but he has been no less of a father in my eyes. Although there was a time (not long ago) that I wondered if we might ever be parents, it is clear that the Lord feels that we need this spirit to help change us to be able to live in His presence as we will also do our very best to do this for our son.

I love you babe! You are an amazing husband and dad.
