Boys Before Baby Shower

So I went to S.D this past week to go to a doctors appt., spend some time with family, and have my baby shower! :] The shower will be in a different post but I took some pics of the boys (mainly Bryce) that I have to post.

Another Trip to S.D

I went down to S.D while Jarom was at a conference in Carpentaria. We drove down to S.D Sunday night and then on Monday Jarom took the train up to Caprentaria with Marty Morgan. I spent the week with my family. Monday night we went to Rhondas and played Tripoli. Her new house is beautiful!

Tuesday I went to the zoo with Lahren but we were only there for a couple hours because it was so hot!!! Even out by the ocean there was no breeze and the sun was beating down. So we went back to Lahrens and hung out. Then I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and I got some new stuff for the house (which will be in a later post.)

The rest of the time we just hung out. My mom had silver from my dad's grandma(Ines), my moms grandma (Nana), and my mom's mom (Ammy). They were old and discolored so my mom and I (but mainly my mom) cleaned them. Lahren got Ines, my mom took Nana's and I got Ammy's.

Then we sat around, watch movies, ate and did nothing. :] I just wanted to share this photo of Grant. :]

Zoo Sister Date

After my appt. I stayed the night at my parents house and went to the Zoo with Lahren and Grant the next day. She has the diamond pass so I get in for free. :] Anyway just wanted to post some pics of our super fun day.

Del Mar Fair

I left Jarom in Rancho Cucamonga on Thursday night and drove down to Santee so I could go to the Del Mar Fair with my family on Friday (June 24th). I came down to get out of the house (I'm going a little stir crazy) and to see Grant perform. I wasn't expecting to much becasue he performed at the Santee street fair right after we moved and cried the entire time. This was his performance this time. :]

He had 2 dances and we didn't even stay for the 2nd one. We did some kiddie rides. This is Grant in the fun house. He ran into the wall twice.

Grant and Casen on the indian canoes. Grant didn't like these at first but by the end of the ride he wanted to ride them again. Casen wanted to go on some trucks across the way and I guess Grant didn't notice that Casen didn't get back in with him because as he got in the canoe he said "Wheres Casen" only it probably sounds more like "Whers Sasen" :] He loves his buddy Casen!

Then we went over to the midway and got some food and saw Grandpa Jerry play the piano. :] My lunch. I was soooo craving BBQ. It wasn't as good as Phils but it satisfied. :]

We also had Dip n' Dots. Something about the individual beads melting in your mouth makes them taste so much better then regular ice cream.

We walked around the shops and Lahren bought me 2 rings for my birthday and I bought her a hat for her birthday. :] Then I came home . Grant on the ride home.

I was going to stay that night also but I missed Jarom so I drove back that night to be with him. Great day. :]

Halloween Fun!

Saturday Jarom and I went to a Halloween party put on by our good friends Noah and Rhawnie Miller. We didn't want to spend to much money on costumes but we wanted to do something a little creative so we went as Steve Jobs and the iPhone

Ha Lahen came late to the party and didn't wear a costume so she threw on this wig that Rhawnie had. :]

Then every Monday before Halloween my family always gets together for a FHE halloween. We've been doing it since I was little and I love it! Jarom, Will, and I carved pumpkins. Well Lahren started the pumpkin and Will finished.

Jarom did the headless horseman and I did the ghost in the graveyard.

Then we had chili and Lahren made some Halloween cookies. We also had our traditional Halloween story about Gregory Ghost and Patty Pumpkin. :]

Also Lahren took some of the Pumpkin seeds and toasted them. I thought they were really good but I wasn't the only one. Grant is the one of the pickiest boys alive and he could not get enough of them. He loved them. It was great. :]

Halloween Fun!

Well I've been so busy I haven't had time to post this but, then I got sick so here it is! :)

Well honestly we didn't do to much and I didn't take a lot of pics but here is some of the stuff we did. First my family went to IHOP for breakfast after our Christmas choir practice.

My mom dressed up as Raggedy Ann! Or some kind of rag doll. Haha SO cute!

 Then later in the day Lahren and I made a haunted ginger bread house.It didn't go to well. At first we were serious but the ginger bread house was cracked in multiple place and falling apart so we just went crazy.

We also projected "The Nightmare Before Christmas" later on. Thanks Dad for setting that up.

My Chunky Monkey

Oh man I love, LOVE, L*O*V*E this little boy. He was pretty grumpy this day and I still thought he was adorable! :D I love you my little nephew!
